The young talented R&B artist/rapper/dancer and director, Chris Scholar, hailing from Richmond, VA is well on his way to the top after inking his production deal with Mars On Sunday, a production team founded by super-producers Blac Elvis and Harold Lilly who worked with artists from Ciara, Fergie and Alicia Keys just to name a few. Chris Scholar's video release to his current single, "Twatchin," a song directed towards the twitter stalkers out there is steadily climbing the ladder on YouTube, to Chris' surprise the single already found it's way to commercial radio.
In my interview Chris talks about how he got his start in the music business, the production company Brown Brothers Productions owned by himself and his older brother, his biggest inspiration for pursuing his music career and what to expect in the near future as he continues to perfect his sound, he also sheds a little light on his songwriting methods and more. @Chris_Scholar Says Stop "Twatchin"
Talk about true talent!
Chris Scholar, the Richmond, Va., hip-hop and r&b crooner has tremendous amounts of talent indeed. Scholar's new video for his latest single, "Twatchin," a song based off a female who keeps up with his daily tweets, basically a stalker, already received 18k+ views in only two weeks. The song can be found on his upcoming mixtape, Graduation, the follow up to his Sober Up: Class Is In Session mixtape.
Scholar, only 19 years old can sing just as good as he can rap, he's also an amazing dancer. After watching his videos, "Twatchin," and "Flower Bomb," a full remix to Wale and Miguel's original cut, I already found myself comparing him to the pop star himself, Chris Brown.
It appears Chris Scholar is well on his way to the top, having recently signed a production deal with Mars On Sunday, the Grammy Award winning powerhouse operated by Blac Elvis (Ciara, Fergie, Mario) and Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Angie Stone). Like they say, hard work does pay off.
Check out his video's below and download his Sober Up: Class Is In Session mixtape here for more music.

Can't we all just get along?
According to TMZ, rapper Young Jeezy and Rick Ross got into a brawl earlier this evening during the BET Hip-Hop Awards, while backstage. It's been stated, according to sources at the BET Awards that the two rappers had an exchange of words, which was followed up by pushing and shoving, leaving BET's security and bodyguards to put an end to the chaos. Allegedly, shots were fired from someone in Rick Ross' entourage in the Atlanta Civic Center parking lot after the fight took place. Fortunately enough, there weren't any serious injuries and unfortunately no arrests.

(Behind The Scenes) K'La The Lyricist ft. Nas - Blame
The small town R&B-MC, K'La The Lyricist, birthed in Gary, Ind., made noise on the radio with the release of her most recent song to date, "All Your Love," produced by Stephen Marley. The video later made it's premiere on 106 & Park, giving a face to the name once and for all. The Coldest Winter Ever was K'la's first mixtape release, receiving 27k+ downloads on Datpiff.com.
After a year, K'La The Lyricist is back with a new song, "Blame," featuring the Don himself, Nas aka Nasty Nas. A collab with Nas doesn't seem too far-fetched for K'La, who is often compared to the legendary Lauryn Hill, considering her poetic rhyme scheme and singing capabilities that will most certainly keep you intrigued. She's different, or maybe something from the past that we've been missing.
