Wyclef Jean, former member of the Fugees has been shot in the hand after 11 p.m. Saturday in the city of Delmas, just outside of Port-au-Prince while riding in a vehicle alongside rapper Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond and his entourage whom didn't get hit.
A spokesman for Wyclef Jean announced the American singer/producer has been released from the hospital.
Pras, another former member of the Fugees stated on March 19 via Twitter, "Yes they shot Wyclef and he's in the hospital and he'll be fine. They just shot his hand .."
Wyclef's management tweeted a message from his account stating, "We have spoken to Wyclef, he is ok. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers - Management"
