SMG Let the people know who you are and where you are from?
SDOE: Whats really good its ya boy sean doe aka sean da don and im from the Bronx
SMG:   What or who (if any) inspired you to do music?
SDOE:  Honestly my uncle inspired me to do music he been producing and recording music since I was young. one day I was in his studio in the bronx right aroun the corner from yankee stadium n allot, he threw a beat on and told me write something nah mean and i went in the booth and did wat i did not even knowing what I was doing, but he was like yo b this is it you gotta do this u got the look and the flow so here I am today.
SMG:    Describe your sound for someone who might not be familiar?
SDOE:  My sound is raw and artistic im like Picasso with the pen G. i like to paint vivid picturescuz i like music that you can see nah mean. Listening to my music is like watching a movie n allat you gotta pay attention to every bar cuz you might miss something word up
SMG:    If you didn’t do music what do you think would be your major focus at this point?
SDOE:  I don’t even know to be honest it’s like i was born into music my grandfather flattop was heavy into music, my uncle is a producer, my father is a dj , my sister is a dj and a songwriter and my mom is a songwriter as well so I feel like my purpose in life is to do music i don’t even have a plan b I’m give my all when it comes to my music.
SMG:   Who are some of the artist who influenced you?
SDOE:  Would have to say biggie , pac, wu-tang, jay-z , nas and az
SMG:    What would be your dream collaboration?
SDOE:  I have 3 it would have to be either raekwon , ghostface killah , and nas but if i could onlychoose one it would be ghostface thats my g rite there word up his whole style is different plus his stories be live
SMG: What’s the reason behind, your single “The Business”?
SDOEI just wanted to bring that raw 80s 90s hip hop feel back in the game nah mean just takin it back to the essence of real hip hop. my uncle produced the beat using a jay-z sample from the American gangster album which gave it more of a classic feel. im painting a picture of the things i was around coming up in the streets of new york as a youth nah mean "the business" is like my introduction getting to know my story for those who dont know me
SMG:  What do you feel the state of Hip-Hop is at the point?
SDOE: I feel like the state of hip hop is good at this point. We have more tools to promote our music independently now such as YouTube , facebook and twitter and all at im lovin it b no complaints over here
SMG:  Being from NYC, now living in Atlanta do you see a difference in how both represent and promote their music?
SDOEYea definitely it’s a big difference in nyc its like artists aint really focused on making a club banga or a party single nahmean its more like yo u gotta bring your a game on da track. you gotta be nice or the people aint really gon rock out wit u like dat. but in atl they will embrace you more,  you can come up with a catchy hook to a hot track and you in the door its a lot more simple down here in the atl
SMG:  What was your most memorable moment as an artist?
SDOE: Back in like 07 i was on the set of rap city with ice cube and my dj at the time choppin it up talkin about different ways to market myself as an artist, the energy on the set just motivated me to go harder nahmean plus ice cube kind of started gangsta rap so i felt honored to be in his presence word up.
